Lauren Russell is a Curious Comedy mainstage performer and one of the current hosts of its Friday Night Fights. Bryan Fernando is an internationally touring performer/teacher. Together they form the duo Lovely Bruise: they leap, bound, laugh, banter, limbo, beguile, levitate, bounce, linger, backtrack, love, befriend, learn, befuddle, lunge, backflip, loiter, bamboozle, and lift back the layers behind reality. Improvisation is collaborative, unscripted theater where actors invent stories, characters, and dialogue in real-time. Instead of relying on a written script, the performers build scenes spontaneously based on suggestions provided by the audience.
